Inode
can anyone recommend a free arm9xx emulator?
EwIck
I suppose you mean software
Inode
yes
dbtid
gcc comes with a bunch of emulators iirc
_exe
Hello.

_exe
dbtid! :-)
How are you, don?
dbtid

_exe
Do you have to fill in a big form? (I don't know how that is, we don't do it)

dbtid
kind of
but it's a lot of record keeping
EwIck
the only thing that's big is the amount you owe them
dbtid
i'm getting a lot back this year
EwIck
yeah me too, next year double
dbtid
c-bot strlcpy
c-bot
dbtid, *shrug*
tiocsti
expecting c-bot to know about bsd-specific string copy functions is a little optimistic :)
c-bot snprintf
c-bot
tiocsti, well ... snprintf - #include <stdio.h> int snprintf (char *s, size_t size, const char *template, ...) Formatted Output Functions (GNU) see - http://www.msunix.co.uk/manual/glibc-2.2.3/html_chapter/libc_12.html#SEC196
dbtid
tiocsti: not when i own the database it's not
i just have to put it in
and FWIW c-bot has a database full of BSD-specific stuff
tiocsti
maybe for snprintf you could add that microsoft returns -1 on truncation, and most unixes follow the actual standard
pointing people at the glibc page will give them wrong info if they use microsoft products
dbtid
well, i don't own the glibc pages
and i'm not bloody going to redo all that stuff
but a note can be made i suppose
Leona_K
hey there
dbtid
hi
gettin' any?
Leona_K
...
yeah...?
dbtid
poor girl
oh
well, then, good, good...
Leona_K
kind of a surprise, uh?
EwIck
yeah.
ambrosia2
anyone know where i can get masm 16 bit
EwIck
you don't want masm.
in any number of bits.
Leona_K
can't masm 32 also compile 16 bits?

ambrosia2
thats only thing ive used at school
gopp
THe professor is getting 1111 1101 for mov al, 0D4h sar al,4
Does he move it four bytes?
May you please explain it ?
dbtid
shift arithmetic right 4 bits
not 4 bytes
ambrosia2
mov al,[bx+si+2] is that even legal?
what does this do mov al,[bx+si+2] ?
nm figured it out didnt know you could do that
http://pastebin.com/626336 <--is that correct?
anyone please?
is this a valid command or a teacher typo? "sub al,bl]"
right after that he calls a jl without calling a compare

Chiu_Lee
when dbtid comes back, someone tell him that M is from "mobile", used in laptops and it mainly focuses on power consumtion (whish is small). me out
