I have a question. When i torize my apps on mobile, the tor project gives my real location in case for this abominable sh*t from hell: http://www.facebook.com/4 if this damned ask for tor project?
arma
x5f: there, i have found the faq entry for you: https://www.torproject.org/docs/faq#PrivateTorNetwork
kinoko: unable to parse "if this damned ask for tor project". however, the best way to use tor right now is the tor browser. there isn't one for ios or android right now. this is indeed sad.
Kinoko
arma: i pretend privacy for exceptionally confuse this damned sh*t upon cited because i have to do some little things soon without this sh*tty damned know my movements.
arma
sounds good. tor browser or bust.
Kinoko
Orbot...
Orbot in mobile is more than a lethal weapon against this upon cited sh*t.
I primised and is a complied promise. Someday i will kill this damned beast... bye

Hello
I want to use openvpn with obfsproxy
I have openvpn running on my server, and obfsproxy installed on both sides

>Dear customer, You have acces to control panel..   logs you have in the message. Fizt it first, after server will be connected to network. Deal?
quality customer support
so i got my tor node back up, but i set it to no longer be an exit (even though the custoomer support said exits were allowed...)
so i'm wondering, how much does having a reduced exit policy *actually* reduce abuse?
i think the reason it was shut down was break in attempts against some web server, which unfortunately means port 80

Oct 22 08:31:10.179 [notice] Tor v0.2.7.4-rc (git-89a9d8c8d75dac08) running on Linux with Libevent 2.0.22-stable, OpenSSL 1.0.2d and Zlib 1.2.8.
============================================================ T= 1445492032
(Sandbox) Caught a bad syscall attempt (syscall time)
ryonaloli_
torQUES: turn on debug mode and run it again
oh wait
syscall "time"
torQUES
ok
ryonaloli_
nvm, no need for debug mode. just create an issue on the tracker
requesting to add the "time" syscall to the sandbox
torQUES
ryonaloli_, http://paste.ubuntu.com/12892295/
ryonaloli_, I have no idea what triggered syscall time
libevent?
ryonaloli_
dunno, the trace isn't very informative
torQUES
I asked nickm and arma but not response yet
as I know, the seccomp use filter Berkeley Packet Filter (BPF) with a whitelist of permitted syscalls other than standard and this the developers choice
ryonaloli_
it's abstracted through libseccomp, so you don't need to directly do any BPF stuff
torQUES
sandbox option in torrc is still experimental
and may be a good protection for a relay
ryonaloli_
it is. seccomp is very good protection
torQUES
Tor v0.2.7.4-rc (git-89a9d8c8d75dac08) relay works good, more than 150 connections and 1-2 MB/s traffic in 3 minutes from start - that's for nickm who asked to test this release
https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/17391
ryonaloli_
you could write a patch for it. just patch sandbox.c
it's actually pretty strait forward
torQUES
I will look into - now I have to go to work
stemid
I got a t-shirt offer in my e-mail a couple of weeks ago, responded promptly but no t-shirt yet :(
tacky
cool. i've been sweet on seccomp-bpf for a few years now. when i saw the talk about seccomp before, I was like, that's nice (for linux, at least), but seccomp-bpf would be me more like, heh, sweet. :) looks like more than plain old seccomp is just wishful thinking still though.
stemid: i got one a few months ago, and finally email in about it yesterday, as it so happens. guess it'll be a while, eh. lol
Sweet
did someone actually ping lil ol me?
midmagic
Is there a way to tell Tor to listen on some specific port, and whenever someone connects to it, it *always* goes out through Tor to some specific destination? (And thus for example, we can forego the use of socat)?
stemid
tacky: I'm only in it for the shirt
winterdarkness-com
midmagic : Maybe transparent proxying is that what you are looking for: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/TransparentProxy :)
torQUES
after some research I found tor was halted by seccomp/Sandbox with the log message: "(Sandbox) Caught a bad syscall attempt (syscall time)" because according to sandbox.c, tor think __NR_time is not defined. But I found in my linux that __NR_time is defined in /usr/src/linux-headers-3.16.0-4-common/include/uapi/asm-generic/unistd.h - I am not a linux expert and I don't know how to point the defined __NR_time (and maybe other syscalls related) from the menti
oned unistd.h to the tor app's allowed seccomp rules.
jackblue quotes: "My gawd, it's full of stars!" - anyone here knowing how to make a workable sandbox?
slackie
(Action) hi there \o

on debian linux, each time I got to run tor browser it downloads it saying "its the first time you have used..."
