hi i have a dude
how to export a *.sql in sql-developer?
this datebase contains tables related
anybody here tried to build an oracle rac on virt-kvm? how is the shared storage set up? as a shared disk or do i have to go the iscsi way?

what happens if your $ORACLE_HOME disk runs full?
i never had that
you sound as if you know :)
I'd like to know
would be interesting. i mean, alert.log is only one of the things that needs disk activity
iirc the dbms generates files for every process instance etc etc
And I'm looking for argument to not relocate admin/xxdump to another disk
where xx = a, u, c, b
don't you have an instance you don't need?
("test system") ;)
but today I'm lazy;)
i'd guess the instance has to crash, sooner or later
(Action) writes a mail to his account at work, reminder to test that...
i usually crontab'ly cleanup my dump directories, i rotate alert and listener log
i mean, nobody needs dumps from last year
I beleive the db will continue but the logs will not be written
but it depends on how you have your filesystems set up
Dormir: there are not only logs IMHO
