I assume your webpage referes to external stylesheet files, and those don't load in one of the reqests?

probably a relative/absolute path issue
everything loads fine i have no hardcoded paths
mohadib_: a way to be 100% sure that your webserver delivers the exact same files regardles of 192.... or localhost is by requesting all files with telnet instead I guess (using full http1.1 of course) the nglayout.enable_drag_images setting was perfect btw mordoca, now it is as I liked it :-)
hello Ragenix how can i improve your firefox experience today
Stop Firefox's memory utilisation hitting 1.5gb when I'm surfing black midget porn. 200 tabs of black midget porn shouldn't take up 1.5gb.
decoded images take lots of space
Midget porn is smaller, after all.
need to decode them to render them on the screen
Nah, it's Flash.
oh, well, 3.6.4 will help with that
Loading up a ton of YouTube or *tube videos kills FF.
flash will be in its own process
Kills as in, swells memory utilisation to ridiculous levels. I look forward to it, sdwilsh. But what I want from Firefox are official Group Policy templates. So I can actually deploy Firefox across my org. kunwon1, develop a Firefox Group Policy administrative template for me.
Considering people use IE in corp by default, FF needs to do more than IE - not less. We go as far as to ban Firefox in most areas. Because people can set some proxy server to bypass our own proxy.
My "H" and "C" keys. (Lowercase only) aren't working on firefox (and only firefox). Is this just me, or is this some kind of freeky problem that there's a fix for.
how can I make firefox ignore a non-closed meta tag? it's preventing me from viewing a site (not my site) XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: </meta>. i looked at the source and they have indeed forgottent to close 1 of their 6 meta tags
DarwinSurvivor, you'd probably have to make firefox think it's text/html
i tried modifying it in firebug, but firebug only shows the error message's html (not very helpful)
maybe with greasemonkey when you view source you don't get the raw xml?
ah okay greasemonkey might be able to do that, but i wouldn't have the first idea how to go about it
the only way i could view the site was to download it, save it and add " oh well, after doing my edit thing, the site didn't have what i was looking for anyways i just figured firefox should have a "disregard the xml error and show the site anyways" button... an normal user would no CLUE what that error meant *have
Does firefox use the system time to seed Math.random?
How do I put auto fill in off again? For passwords I mean
oh, firefox, i love u
hello. just read that mozilla sync has been released ... If possible, I would like to use it, but have my stuff saved on my own server rather than the mozilla-service. there is an option for that, but is there als oa server-software for it?
schoppenhauer: the server code is avaible, http://hg.mozilla.org/labs most of the weaveserver* reprositories you will need
is this the correct location for questions regarding mobile firefox?
Hi, is there any way I can make firefox use another directory than /usr/lib/mozilla to access the libflashplayer plugin?
does anyone know how to sort the top-level bookmarks folder by name?
Hi If I set firefox font size to 12pt, it is too small to be 12pt. If I set font size to 12pt in other applications, letters are big enough to read. Increasing DPI settings in KDE doesn't increase the font size of firefox. How can I change the DPI of firefox?
it follows the system settings but firefox have no support for kde (by that i mean you need to config gnomes settings file)
I god Slackware doesn't have GNOME. Do I need to modify GTK+ settings?
is there any way i can merge this old history.dat (mork format i think?) with my current places.sqlite ? a corrupted one, no less
anoob: i hope not
that would be insecure
are you talking about security? : :)* ok i figured it... thank you kermit
whose idea was it to make ff create a folder ingeniously named 'downloads', then? :|
Mentifisto: mine just puts downloads in my home directory
yeah, it's very annoying... you delete it and it comes back. just like WMP does so Mozilla is turning more Microsoft-y :)
hi my offline cache device is set to D:\users etc... I want to set it somewhere else how do i do this?
Is anyone aware of an avenue of complaint regarding addons.mozilla.org? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/downloads/file/49719/xpi/startupmaster-1.1-fx+tb.xpi Service Unavailable. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or where it could be reported if not?
whats with firefox? anytime i click a file link it wants to launch an application? instead of just downloading the file?
In general - If I want to force a browser to make an HTTP RANGE request, how can I do that? I tried returning a 204 and 205 page with no content and an Accept-Ranges header, and I also tried sending a 206 with partial content - only the latter seems to do anything. When I give a 416 (range not satisfiable) the browser gives up and does't try a ranged request. Is there a definitive way to force the client to use a range?
are there any plugins I can use to capture the post variables from a form?
Did you mean as "Lazarus: Form Recovery" ?
tamper datat -t
hey, I'm running ff 3.6.3 and when I open a pdf file firefox gets freeze, I've already tried purging the package (I'm using ubuntu), removing the .mozilla folder but I the behaviour doesn't change, any suggestion?
