but I'd have to change my setup a bit in order to do that as I currently just do an lsearch of /etc/aliases for that
henk
When you can do an lsearch, you can do a pgsql lookup, Id wager & Why are you asking about conditions specifically?
rjsalts
I currently have untrusted_set_senders = * and was wondering whether I could restrict it further
henk
ah, I thought you said you had an lsearch of /etc/aliases? o_O
rjsalts
I guess I could do untrusted_set_sender and enforce that in acl_not_smtp

jgh_: hi, Jeremy
jgh_
my, that was fast :)
kirillm
yeah
I'm visiting my grandfather, so now he is sleeping and I'm online
kind of vacation
so, I found some test suite in the git repo, but not sure how to run it
jgh_
there's a readme in the test/ directory

kirillm
yes, but I haven't made my way thorugh it
it's an extensive piece of instructions
jgh_
fairly complex, I'm afraid
I'm just hunting around for a freebsd download, see if I can set up a VM with it. It's not something I've run before. We could really do with an active user in the buildfarm, but the one freebsd animal has never been fully brought up
and the buildfarm operator has gone silent recently, so adding more animals is also a problem
kirillm
my segfault is on openbsd
jgh_
gaah
kirillm
btw, "animal"?
jgh_
brainfade
a system (or vm) set up to automatically run the testsuite
kirillm
ok
jgh_
http://eximbuild.mrball.net/cgi-bin/show_status.pl
kirillm
ah, interesting
is the admin the same jasper, who is openbsd dev?
jgh_
don't know
kirillm
ok
jgh_
install from iso in progress
kirillm
the VM?
jgh_
yup
kirillm
I'll gladly help
jgh_
by guesswork...
what sets will I nees?
d\need
kirillm
base
comp
man
not games or x*
jgh_
bsd?
kirillm
yes
that's the kernel
bsd is for single process machine
bsd.mp is for SMP
bsd.rd is to run installer
I tend to take all bsd*
jgh_
it's whining about a SHA256.sig
"Directory does not contain"
any clue?

kirillm
the directory with install sets should have SHA256.sig
normally
and SHA256
they are used to verify integrity of kenrnel and install sets
jgh_
huh. and this is a fresh .iso download... is it talking about the directory on the iso?
kirillm
yes
jgh_
so I guess I can't trust it. Bother
kirillm
just go ahead and continue
I'm used to install from FTP servers
jgh_
doing from ftp now
I'm too used to GB-sized installs
kirillm
:D
cd57.iso is 7-8 MB large
I found a comment on the mailing list re. SHA256.sig
"If someone was able to modify the ISO to tamper with the sets, they
could also alter the keys included, and change the checksums and .sig
file. In this case, you would be told everything was fine and it would
continue installing.
"
so the ISO has to be verified before installing
if I'm not mistaken, the system will have everything needed to build Exim except PCRE
jgh_
ok
kirillm
installed easily like this:
pkg_add pcre
if it complains about pkg path, your /etc/pkg.conf might be empty
in that case do
echo installpath = http://ftp.eu.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/5.7/packages/amd64/ > /etc/pkg.conf
funny you called them animals
jgh_
we stole the pgsql buildfarm code, and terminology
kirillm
I see
jgh_
where's the favoured dir for config files on openbsd?
kirillm
sorry, what?
jgh_
where shal I tell the makefile for exim where the exim config file will be?
kirillm
mine is /etc/exim/configure
I belive it's also the location the port/package uses
indeed
configure file is /etc/exim/configure
and exim user/group: _exim with uid/gid 521
jgh_
ah. I just created "exim" as 1001
I doubt it'll matter
kirillm
well, don't worry
521 is used if you install exim from ports or exim as a package
shall I share my Makefile with you?
jgh_
compiled, some worrying warnings
kirillm
yes
jgh_
not yet, no. Once we get a bit deeper, maybe
kirillm
ok
openbsd has some protection mechanisms that sometimes make things break
which might be indicators that something's wrong
jgh_
I take it you're in a European TZ ? I'm in the UK
kirillm
I'm normally in NO, but now in RU
