well.. not so much a different server, but auth w/ a diff username. I'm using gmail as a smarthost

aye i was trying to make exim use different credentials for different parts of a website authenticating with google

couldnt do it so did it the right way by making php talk smtp to gmail

well, the other option is to make exim work on its own, which iwas having trouble with, before i switched to using google
aye, i suppose i could do that, primarily i want to power a contact form on a website
which is in php anyways
