Yay, exim channel, exactly what I need.
I'm trying to get rid of the envelope-from stuff in the header. I've tried all the config options that I could find. Does anybody know some magic?
Hm..I think my problem is actually with Return-path
phx
anybody using DKIM here?

Hi,
Is there a way in exim at acl_smtp_data while scanning with SA to not send defer to client when scanning failed
based on conditions
phx
yes
mhm, wawit
i'm not sure on that. if some scanning fails, the mail is deferred
b_
yes, it's like it be OK
I see /defer_ok
I think I can do things with that
i'm trying
humm
not easy

I have an account in cpanel that is not sending email. The emails are getting back with the problem "Unroutable adress". I googled and it seems as a mx entry issue but I do not know how to solve it, so can anyone help me with this ? my actual mx record is set as this TTL=14400, Priority=0, MX Destination=domain.com
phx
show the actual log entry of the error at first place

Is there a way to make exim ignore messages if they come from the outside, but their header tells they are from a domain that exim accepts mails from (ie, my users are getting spam, supposedly form admin@dusted.dk but it's recieved from the outside) ?
phx
yes

DusteD
phx, neat, can you give me a pointer on what kind of option I'm looking for?
phx
exim.org -> docs :)
you have to do just what you described
you have to ignore the mail (discard, though i'd suggest rejecting it), filter on the inet source of the message, and check the domain of the sender address
http://exim.org/exim-html-current/doc/html/spec_html/ch40.html
everything is here what you need for this
DusteD
okay, cool, thank you for the link, I just wasen't sure where to start.. The exim docs are great, but huge :)
phx
well, i'm configuring a smarthost with AUTH from Active Directory
guess how many eximdocs tabs i've got in my browser...
DusteD
:s I can imagine

Hello to all. I can send emails from one account to all other domains, except my domain. I can send to google, yahoo, hotmail, etc but I can't send to myemail@mydomain.com I get a messagge saying "Unroutable address". anyone that can help ?
DusteD
albuntu, do you have the mxrecord configured in the DNS settings for yourdomain.com ?
albuntu
DusteD yes
DusteD
idk then :(
albuntu
the problem seems very strange. I can send and receive emails between accounts found under the same domain that is domain1, and also from other domains but I can't receive from the domain2. Domain1 and Domain2 are on the same server
DusteD
they are on the same server, have you tried pinging them both (on the server) and check that they resolve to the local IP, and not to the public one ?
in case the server is NAT'ed

Hello Debian user here! I want to forward mail to local user to external domain (specifically gmail). I can successfully send mail from localuser1 to localuser2 and then forward to localuser2's gmail. However, I cannot forward mail sent from external to localuser2... hope this makes sense
albuntu
DusteD, sorry for the confusion. its my fault. I have cpanel in this server installed. I have www.domain1.com that is sending and receiving emails correctly. I have domain2.com in another server but I made a clone of the domain2 to this server. The domain2 is not pointing here but I have just cloned the cpanel account on the server where domain1 is
DusteD
okay, I'm sorry but then I don't know
albuntu
DusteD okay, thanks anyways :)
