is it possible to define a email address like firstname.lastname@example.org on serverA and the yoursite.com website be on ServerB ?
mrglinux: probably mrglinux: it's a bit unclear what you actually want to do, but as general as you ask it is possible.
henk:yes I have server a with windows operating system and serverB linux OS that has mail server only my question was when we define yoursite.com domain it properly return server A ip and connected to it buy for mail I don't what happened . how the mail found out it should go to server B not server A **by **but :-D
mrglinux: read about MX records in the dns.
hello Have a question: how can I configure to send mail through 995 port?
port = 995 on the transport thats an odd port to use..
petemc: In what config file is edited
depends, exim -bV will print the config exim is using, but if you're using debian it can be more complicated then just editing the file printed in the output of that command
