hi all
I have a little problem. I want to change hostlist relay_from_hosts from MAIN_RELAY_NETS to 127.0.0.1 : ::::1 : MAIN_RELAY_NETS in /etc/exim4/conf.d/main/01_exim4-config_listmacrosdefs but changing dc_relay_nets in update-exim4.conf.conf to '127.0.0.1' and running update-exim4.conf doesn't show any effect. Where is my mistake? The system is Debian Lenny
hm, noone who could help me?

How does exim determine what to deliver locally?
petemc
local_domains
ln-
I have a server which used to be receive mail for mydomain.xx... Now it has been retired from that job, and the MX records have been changed months ago; but when a php app uses sendmail (i.e. exim) to send mail to someone@mydomain.xx, that is delivered locally.
And mydomain.xx is not in local_domains as far as I can see.
petemc
exim -d -bt foo@mydomain.xx
phx
debug mode will tell you why exim takes that decision

Hmm... I just thought of something. Let's see..
Argh, how silly. The server's hostname was mydomain.xx, and that's why "@" in local_domains matched.
Thank you petemc and phx.
